Why This Site Exists
Idaho makes many jail, court, and public agency records available, but the hard part is knowing where a Franklin County custody record lives. Franklin County does not publish a live Franklin-run roster in the research sources used for this build. County pages instead point people toward the sheriff's office, Franklin County Court, VINELink, and detention information for Cache County Jail, Bannock County Detention Center, and Caribou County Detention Center.
This site is built to keep those paths clear. County jail custody, sentenced state custody, federal custody, and immigration custody are separate systems. A Franklin County inmate may be routed through a regional jail, while a sentenced felony resident may appear in the Idaho Department of Correction locator instead of a jail list.

What This Site Cannot Do
Franklin County Inmate Population is privately run. It is not part of Franklin County, the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, any jail, any court, the Idaho Department of Correction, or any federal agency.
- It cannot release, hold, move, or transfer a person in custody.
- It cannot post bond, schedule a visit, add commissary funds, or send mail for a visitor.
- It cannot give legal advice or tell a defendant how to handle a case.
- It cannot change, seal, delete, or correct an official jail, court, or law-enforcement record.
Only the agency that holds or created the record can confirm custody status, charges, release, or document availability.
